3D Printed R/C Planes

It's a wonderful thing to experience, when one hobby compliments another. I started 3D printing to make parts for my FPV drones, and now here I am 3D printing full R/C airplanes.

Keeping them lightweight but strong proves a challenge even for experienced 3D printing enthusiasts. There are plenty of designs out there to keep one busy, and their flight characteristics vary from lazy gliders to speed demons.

For the experienced R/C pilot, I highly recommend the 'Northern Pike' by Thingiverse user 'localfiend' - just be smart and use metal gear servos. Maybe grab my wooden firewall mod for it as well.
